Empowering Boards of School Education to bridge the Gap Between Board Exams and Entrance Examinations
Once the entrance examinations are brought under a modern form, NTA will offer training of school education boards as well as other bodies to have scientific testing standards comparable with the entrance examinations. This will ensure that the transition from secondary to tertiary education is smooth for a student and is without much of stress. The vast difference between the testing standards of entrance examinations and different school boards has been a major lacuna of Indian education system. Since India has several school boards, it will be a desirable situation that all of them have similar testing standards and that standard is comparable to the standards set in the entrance examination.
